Spanish singer-songwriter Bustamante released a new single named ‘Castígame“. It’s a collaboration with the Belgian singer Belle Perez especially created for the launch of Bustamante’s latest album “Vivir” in Belgium. The original version of “Castígame” is included in “Vivir” too.
For the Belgian artist Belle Perez it’s her big chance at her Spanish dream. Whether or not she will succeed in fulfilling this dream is for the future to decide, but at least releasing a duet with one of the biggest Spanish musicians is a great start.
David Bustamante Hoyos or better known under his stage name Bustamante is a Spanish singer-songwriter who rose to fame by finishing third in the first season of Operación Triunfo. In 2002 he released his debut single “Además de ti” which became a huge hit in Mexico, Peru, Spain and Venezuela. His self-titled debut album “Bustamante” was released in the same year. Over the years Bustamante scored many hits like “Feliz”, “A contracorriente”, “Celebra la vida”, “A filo de la irrealidad”, “Por ella”, “Devuélveme la vida”, “Devuélveme el aire” and “Dos hombres y un destino”.
Maribel Perez better known under her stage name Belle Perez is a Belgian musician with Spanish roots. In 1997 she was discovered at a local talent show by Patrick Renier. Her career started when she took part in the Belgian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 1999. Belle Perez released several succesful albums and singles in Belgium and the Netherlands.
