A few weeks ago we wrote about Marco Mengoni’s new single “Io ti aspetto“. Today he released a remix album of this single named “Io ti aspetto (remix)”. The album contains twelve remixes by six different acts. Of each act there is a radio edit and an extended or club remix included. The remix album currently is the best selling album on the Italian iTunes Store.
The original version of “Io ti aspetto” is part of Marco Mengoni’s latest album “Parole in circolo” which was released January 13th, 2015. The original single version of “Io ti aspetto” currently is still in the top 20 of best selling songs on Italian iTunes Store.

Marco Mengoni is an Italian musician who released three albums, several extended plays and numerous singles. His most successful singles are: “L’essenziale”, “Dove si vola”, “Guerriero”, “Pronto a correre”, “Credimi ancora” and “Solo (Vuelta al ruedo)”. His most successful album is “#prontoacorrere” which was released in March 2013. In 2013 Marco Mengoni won the San Remo Music Festival and took part in the Eurovision Song Contest. During the Eurovision Song Contest he finished seventh.
