British singer-songwriter WIll Young released “Brave Man” as the follow-up single to “Like A River”. It’s the third single of his upcoming album “85% Proof” which is scheduled to be released May 25th, 2015 (depending on your location the release date may vary a few days). The previous singles “Like A River” and “Love Revolution” are included in the album too.
The “85% Proof” album title explained by Will Young:
My brother was telling me about how in the 16th century sailors would get paid in rum, and to test the alcohol content they’d put a little bit of it with gunpowder.
They’d light the gunpowder and if it went of, it had over 50% alcohol. The phrase was “50% proof”.
And so I just thought “85% Proof” was really good.

William Robert “Will” Young or better known under his stage name Will Young is a British singer-songwriter who won the first series of Pop Idol (UK). Shortly after his Pop Idol win he released his debut single “Anything Is Possible” which became major hit in the United Kingdom. Later that year he released his debut album “From Now On” which peaked at number one in the UK Albums Chart. In total he released five very successful studio albums and numerous singles.
