British folk rock trio The Staves released “Black & White” as follow-up single to “Blood I Bled”. It’s the second the single of their upcoming studio album “If I Was” which is scheduled to be released March 23rd, 2015. In anticipation of this second studio album The Staves and their producer Justin Vernon talked about the experience of recording this album in a mini-documentary named “If I Was”. The mini-documentary features songs from the album, interviews with the players and behind-the-scenes footage of the recording process. The three sisters Emily Staveley-Taylor, Jessica Stavely-Taylor and Camilla Stavely-Taylor form the English folk rock trio The Staves. They are from English town named Watford. They released one album (“Dead & Born & Grown”), four extended plays (“Facing West”, “Mexico”, “The Motherlode” and “Blood I Bled”) and several singles. They are mostly known for the singles “Mexico”, “Tongue Behind My Teeth”, “Facing West”, “Icarus (feat. Keaton Henson)”.
