Jan Smit releases “Jij & Ik” ahead of upcoming album

Dutch singer-songwriter Jan Smit released a new single “Jij & Ik” (You and I). The the first single of his upcoming album with the same title which is shedualed to be released August 22, 2014. The tracklist of the upcoming album can be found below. At the moment there’s no music video available of “Jij & Ik” (only audio).

Jan Smit is a Dutch singer-singersongwriter from Volendam. He has been known for a long time in The Neterlands. First he sang under the name Jantje Smit since he was a child singer. He released several Dutch and German albums with success in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. His last five Dutch albums (excluding compilations) reached the number one position in the Dutch Album Chart.
He released numerous singles too. Most of them had great succes in the Netherlands and Belgium. Some notable released are: “Stilte In De Storm”, “Cupido”, “Als De Morgen Is Gekomen”, “Echte Vrienden” and “Leef Nu Het Kan”.
