Norwegian-Romanian music duo OPS released their debut single “S.A.M.P. (She Is After My Piano)”. The song is a cover of the Belgian hit “She Is After My Piano” by 2 Fabiola featuring Loredana which peaked at the sixth place in the Ultratop 50 (Flanders). OPS’ single “S.A.M.P. (She Is After My Piano)” is a new version of the earlier released cover of OPS its members Paula Seling and Ovi which was included in Ovi’s latest album “A Bit Of Pop Won’t Hurt Anyone”.
OPS is a newly formed duo consisting of the Romanian artist Paula Seling and Romanian-Norwegian artist Ovi. Together they are best known as the duo that represented Romania twice in the Eurovision Song Contest. They finished third in 2010 with “Playing With Fire” and twelfth in 2014 with “Miracle”. After five great years of collaboration the duo decided to go further under one name OPS.
Ovidiu Cernăuțeanu or better known under his stage name Ovi is a Norwegian-Romanian singer-songwriter. In 2009 Ovi released his debut “This Gig Almost Got Me Killed” and in 2014 he released his sophomore album “A Bit of Pop Won’t Hurt Anyone”. Some notable solo single releases by Ovi are “Ony Day”, “Audry”, “Seven Seconds”, “Girls” and “Vagabond”.
Paula Seling is a Romanian singer from Baia Mare. Her career started in 1995 by singing in a music competition. In 1998 she released the song “Ploaie în Luna lui Marte” which was a great hit in Romania. Her career started to take off from that moment. She released more than 10 albums and numerous singles. Her most successful song to date is the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest entry “Playing With Fire” which was a collaboration with Ovi.
