Swedish musician Mariette released her new single and same-titled extended play “My Revolution”. The single is the official theme song of the Stockholm Pride 2015 and is written by Mariette herself in collaboration with Linnea Olsson and Fredrik Samsson. The song is produced by Anton Hård af Segerstad.
The extended play “My Revolution” consists of five songs including her Melodifestivalen 2015 entry “Don’t Stop Believing”. For this extended play Mariette collaborated with Kirby Lauryen (who wrote Rihanna’s “Four Five Seconds” and Jennifer Lopez’ “Let It Be Me”), Linnea Olsson, Fredrik Samsson among others. During the summer Mariette is touring Sweden. On July 22nd, 2015 she is opening for Roxette in her hometown Halmstad.

Mariette Petra Carola Hansson or better known under the mononym Mariette is a Swedish singer-songwriter. In 1999 she took part in the Swedish national selection for the European Soundmix Show by imitating the Canadian pop-rock singer Amanda Marshall. After this it became quiet around her until she released her debut album “In This Skin” back in 2008. The next year she took part in the sixth season of the Swedish version of Pop Idol.
This year Mariette took part in Melodifestivalen with her song “Don’t Stop Believing”. The song reached the third place in Melodifestalen and was certified gold by the Swedish Recording Industry Association.
