Polish musician Donatan released his new single “Pełnia”. It’s a collaboration with the Polish music legend Maryla Rodowicz, and it’s written and produced by Donatan himself. O nly a day after its release the incredibly well produced music video of “Pełnia” is already watched more than 725,000 times on YouTube. “Pełnia” is the current number two in the Polish iTunes Chart.
Maryla Rodowicz is a Polish music legend whose career started by winning the Festiwal Piosenki i Piosenkarzy Studenckich back in 1967. Her first chart success came in 1969 when she released “Mówiły mu”. In 1970 Maryla Rodowicz released her first album (a LP). In total Maryla Rodowicz released more than 20 albums and has recorded hundreds of songs. Her latest studio album “Buty 2″ which was released back in 2011 went platinum in Poland. Some of Maryla Rodowicz’ greatest hits are “Mława”, “Dworzec”, “Listopady liści”, “Łatwopalni”, “Bar przed zakrętem”, “Łza na rzęsie (mi się trzęsie)”, “Nie liczy się nic”, “Jest cudnie”, “Będzie to co musi być” and “Wszyscy chcą kochać”.
Witold Czamara or better known under his stage name Donatan is a Polish musician who released his debut single “Nie lubimy robić (feat. Borixon & Kajman)” back in 2012. Later that year he released his debut album “Równonoc. Słowiańska dusza” which peaked at the number one position of the Polish Albums Chart and was certified as a diamond album by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry. In 2013 his collaboration with the Polish singer Cleo became a huge hit in Poland therefore “My Słowianie” was internally selected by the Polish broadcaster TVP to represent Poland in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. In the Grand Final “My Słowianie” finished eight. In November 2014 Donatan released together with Cleo an album named “Hiper / Chimera”.
