Dutch-American country group The Common Linnets released their new single “We Don’t Make The Wind Blow“. It’s the first single of their upcoming sophomore album which is scheduled to be later this year. “We Don’t Make The Wind Blow” is a great success in the Netherlands as it’s already in the top 10 of the Dutch iTunes.
“We Don’t Make The Wind Blow” is the title-song for the Dutch version of the American TV series Wayward Pines which will be aired on FOX NL. Currently there’s is only an audio version of the song available on YouTube. You’re able to check it out below.
The Common Linnets is a Dutch-American country group consisting of Ilse DeLange, Jake Etheridge, JB Meijers, Mathew Crosby and Rob Crosby. Previously Waylon was part of the group too. They represented The Netherlands during the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. Their entry and debut single “Calm After The Storm” unexpectedly finished second and became a huge hit all over Europe. Their self-titled album “The Common Linnets” charted in several countries all over Europe with top 20 positions in Austria, Denmark, Flanders, Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands.
