Italian classical-pop group Il Volo won the 2015 Sanremo music festival with their new single “Grande amore”. With their win they earned the right to represent Italy during the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. “Grande amore” is part of their new mini-album “Sanremo grande amore” which was released yesterday February 17th, 2015.

Il Volo is an Italian classical-pop music group consisting of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble. They rose to fame by participating in the Italian music competition Ti lascio una canzone in 2009. They released three Italian studio albums, two Spanish studio albums, three live albums and two extended plays. Some notable single releases are “Il mondo”, “O sole mio”, “Un amore così grande”, “El triste” and “Ancora”.
