Turkish-Belgian pop singer Hadise released a new single “Prenses”. It’s the second single of her latest Turkish album “Tavsiye”. The title prenses translates in English to princess.
Hadise was born in the Belgian city of Mol and made shot to fame during the Flemish version of Idols. She didn’t make it to the finals, but got a record contract. After that she released 3 English albums and 3 Turkish albums (including ”Tavsiye”). She is internationally mostly known for her participation in 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. She represented Turkey with the song ”Düm Tek Tek” and placed fourth. The charted in countries like Japan, Turkey, The Netherlands, Sweden, Finland and Belgium. Nowadays she still is very known and successful in Turkey, but in Belgium she hasn’t had a hit in more than 5 years (This is also because she nowadays only makes Turkish music).
