The Common Linnets release “Give Me A Reason”
|Finally The Common Linnets are back with the follow-up single to their smash hit “Calm After The Storm”. The song “Give Me A Reason” is the first single of The Common Linnets after the departure of Waylon and is included on their selftitled debut album. The music video of “Give Me A Reason” is filmed in a barn on the country side to give it a extra country feel. There’re a lot of fake (wooden/toy) animals too.
The Common Linnetes are a Dutch country group which represented The Netherlands during the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. Their entry and debut single “Calm After The Storm” finished second. It became a smash hit all over Europe. Their selftitled album “The Common Linnets” charted in several countries all over Europe with top 20 positions in Austria, Denamrk, Flanders, Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands. The album is certified three times platinum in The Netherlands (150,000 sales).
